Understanding Your Options

There are different types of communities that offer a continuum of care and cater to the lifestyle that you and/or your loved ones are accustomed to living. Shoreline Senior Solutions will assist you in navigating through the different reputable communities, educate you about the differences, and help you to identify when the time is right to making the move.

Assisted Living

The name assisted living does not mean that an individual needs to have care needs in order to live there. This simply means that the community is certified by the state under Title 22 RCFE to provide care to the residents. One of the benefits in choosing an assisted living community is that when someone needs care they do not have to move again.

Memory Care

A memory care community provides your loved one with cognitive stimulation, soothing-engagement and secure environments to interact and thrive. These communities have professionally trained staff who specialize in memory-care programming, compassionate communication,  engaging activities, specialized diets, that would be helpful to your loved ones needs.

Board & Care

These intimate environments traditionally have anywhere from 4-6 residents. A purposefully design home helps your loved one to enjoy a house setting while also getting the exceptional care they deserve. There are many benefits to moving to board & care communities where the residents enjoy more of an intimate care experience.
